You may have heard a lot of children's music already and while there's plenty of great music for kids out there, it's hard to find it. I've met many parents that are so jaded against kids' music that they are visibly surprised that they enjoyed my show as much as their kids did (possibly more).

I do my best to write music that I enjoy playing, and that I will continue to enjoy playing for years to come. More than once I've been told by adults that my music "doesn't sound like kids' music". To that I say "thank you for noticing," and add, "the lyrics are for the kids, the music is for the parents." Have a listen here.

One thing I am very aware of, and cautious about, is the exploitive and manipulative way that kids' entertainment is marketed to children. It is a dilemma for me as an up-and-coming performer since I need to get the word out about my music and my shows to make a living, but I am uneasy with the whole idea of marketing to children. 

So this means I must rely on you, the parents, to find out about me. Please spread the word, tell a friend, post my website link on sites visited by other parents. Everything helps. 

If you really want to get involved, I'm always looking for funny kids' anecdotes, suggestions of where to perform or where to try to sell my music, feedback on my shows or songs. Anything. You are the experts and your help or ideas are always appreciated.
