1. I Didn't Know
2. Boogie Child
3. Worm Germs
4. The Dentist
5. You're An Animal!
This is an actions song where, you guessed it, you're an animal! Musically it's a pretty clear homage (or knock-off) of a lot of early-mid-sixties bands. Sort of a British Invasion meets Beach Boys kind-of-thing. This song gets the biggest responses at our live shows, so now it's our standard finale tune. I'm thrilled to finally get the studio version out there.
6. Mamma's In The Minivan
This bluegrass-flavoured song is a tribute to moms everywhere who seem to be endlessly driving their kids from one place to another. My friends Brad Gillard (banjo) & Shannon Saunders (fiddle) did some amazing playing on this tune.
7. Real Cool Cat
8. Middle Child Blues
9. Buried Treasure
10. Super-powered Superhero
11. Let's Build
12. Silly Songs
13. Kids Are Kids Around the World
Kids Are Kids Around The World was written especially to support the Kids Around The World Children's Museum vision for Vancouver. It is now available exclusively for download at www.kidsaroundtheworld.ca If you download it, please consider giving them a small donation.
14. The Worst Haircut
15. Six to Eight Weeks
When I was a kid I ordered many toys through mail-away offers (mostly from Star Wars or G.I.Joe toys) that usually required collecting points and took FOREVER to show up.  They rarely turned out to be as cool as I thought they'd be. For this story I tried to think of the most useless thing you could order away for, a rubber-band launcher, which you could easily make with your own thumb and finger! Why this ended up soundling like a ZZ Top or George Thorogood tune I'm not sure. I guess it was the "talking blues" aspect that lead me in that direction.
