"Mama this music makes my legs want to dance." Here's some early reviews of Boogie Child from the most important critics: kids & parents! "(My daughter) was thrilled with your CD. It's really good! Now I have listened and own many, many childrens CDs so I don't say that lightly. It is very musical, easy to listen to and totally funny... after she listened to a couple of songs she said to me 'Mama this music makes my legs want to dance.' That should be a fabulous compliment to you." "My kids love the whole thing (myself included)... everything is danceable, and very creative. My husband loves Worm Germs the best!" "(Boogie Child) is as enjoyable as your first!! (My son) loves it...and I have to admit that after I drop him off at daycare, I STILL keep your music on!! I find that every time I head on an errand with the boys, that I start singing the Mamma's in the Minivan song before I am even out of the driveway!! Makes me laugh! Bottom line, you have another winner with cd #2. Well done!" "Its awsome!! :D My son said 'Mommy I love this music!' Haha its great! GOOD JOB!" The U.S. publication Nick Jr. Family Magazine (the same Nick Jr. of "Blues Clues" and "Dora the Explorer" fame) features Chris in an article in their October issue! He is the only Canadian in this article about seven up-and-coming children's musicians/groups. The article claims that Chris plays "songs that are as memorable as they are loaded with kids' humor" and that his songs are "custom-designed to get kids dancing". Very cool. Pick up Nick Jr. Family Magazine at most major magazine outlets. STICKY SITUATIONS gets a nomination! Chris Hamilton's Sticky Situations was nominated for Outstanding Children's Recording for 2005 Western Canadian Music Awards! The awards were presented on October 23.
